In the Autosport International Live
Action Arena – NEC Birmingham
Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January 2007

The 2007 Oval
Racing shows in the Autosport International Live Action Arena at the
NEC had an amazing start with Louise Goodman “stealing” the F1 Red
Bull car arriving the NEC in spectacular style.
Louise then handed over to our Oval racing
Commentators Dave Richardson and Barry Lee
On Saturday the
racing action featured the very best cars and drivers from short
circuit, oval and Autograss.
The racing started with BRISCA F2 making a welcome return,
followed by Autograss, Superstox, Hot Rods and then BRISCA F1 stock
cars for first heats. Click here to see
more action pictures.
While the second heats for all the formulas were
followed by Terry Grant also trying to break his previous World
Record for changing a wheel while the car was doing donuts.
The finale of the
show was performed by
The Oval Racing
Spectacular on Sunday 4.30pm followed the same format but with
racing from V8 Stock Cars, Autograss, BRISCA F2, Hot Rods and F1
Stock cars.
Starters were
Richard and Helen Kaleta and race commentaries were from Nick
Knowles, Steve Langley and Graham Woodward.
Once again these
two spectacular shows got the 2007 racing season off to a flying
start.
