THE OVAL RACING EXPERIENCE 2009

NEC Birmingham

Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th January 2009

RADIO CARS AT THE NEC

Jim Spencer of the British Radio Car Association tells us about the weekend’s activities and continuous action.

The British Radio Car Association will be demonstrating the exciting world of radio controlled racing cars on its 400 square metre indoor track.

On Saturday at the NEC we will be launching a new class of car. These are 1/10 scale, electrically powered replica's of the cars running in the British GT Championship or the FIA GT3/4 series and are known in the RC world as GT10s.

Our display format of nine races each hour, three for the GTs plus a full set of supporting classes, gives an indication of the variety of racing to be enjoyed at any one of the 225 clubs in the UK.

There will be an opportunity for the public to 'have a go' on our special time trial, where the fastest time over the weekend will be able to win a fully ready to race RC car package.
