In 1954 at New Cross stock car racing was
launched in the UK and over the years has evolved into modern day oval
racing as we know it. To help us pay tribute to this anniversary, the very first English stock car winner Fred Parsons came along to the show told us some great stories of his days in racing as ‘The Mad Parson’ THORA – The Historic Oval Racing Association – bought along to the show pioneer stock cars that were then still built from production coupes and salons for a static display in Hall 11 and then we saw them in action on Saturday night. BRISCA F1 Heritage had a great variety of cars on display ranging from 1962 to the present day. |
